I worked with Stan for months and never had a bad experience! From the beginning of our lessons, he was always there to help me learn how to play and also teach me music. Super flexible, very patient, kind, and his teaching style is fantastic. I would recommend Stan for all levels of players. If you are looking for a piano instructor, Stan is the man.

Dr. Warren was my voice teacher for quite a few years. I drove 3 hours round-trip for each lesson and always felt like it was well worth the time and effort: Yes, he's that good! I cycled through three other voice teachers before finding Dr. Warren, each of whom either did not recognize or else cultivated incorrect technique so that I became frustrated and uncomfortable, with a very limited vocal range. Dr. Warren was immediately able to identify what to address first, and gradually helped to unravel the maze of confusion and bad habits that I had developed. He is encouraging, supportive, friendly, and a master teacher, with an approach that always feels safe, at the same time making one eager to practice and improve more. Under his guidance, I learned to love the sound of my voice, singing became satisfying and fun, and I was able to handle music that I had never imagined I would ever be able to sing. I can't recommend him enough!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $30 for a 30 minute lesson, and $50 for one hour. If I travel to the student it may be more depending upon time and distance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For private lessons I would interview the student and ask them to play or sing for me if able. Then we would assess goals and particular interests (repertoire, contests, auditions, etc.) and establish weekly assignments and expectations. For performing requests I would inquire about the specific needs for the occasion and prepare the appropriate vocal or piano solos or both.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BM in MUE Voice/Piano and MM in Voice with a Performer's Certificate from the Eastman School of Music. An extensive performing career and 20+ years teaching voice and piano privately and on the faculties of Aspen, AIMS, SWBTS, Union University.
