- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Booking fees are a set rate; the overall cost of your wedding is contingent upon a few variables such as the additional services we are providing, guest count, location of the wedding and how extensive the décor will be. A 50% initial installment of the booking fee is due to reserve your spot and allow us to start working on your wedding; please note the initial 50% installment is our retainer fee! The remaining balance of the booking fee is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding. Retainer Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance. The overall cost of the wedding will be paid out as follows 40% one month following the initial installment, 30% due at the 4-month mark and the remaining 30% due at the 8 week mark. This payment schedule is contingent upon booking 8 months prior to your wedding date; bookings made within that 8-month mark will require the booking fee to be paid in full at the time of booking and the overall cost of the wedding to be paid out according to the plan comprised during the time of booking. Please note in this instance the entire booking fee counts as our retainer fee. Marie's Weddings Planning+Design by K.M. Designs Events & More will tax at the regular state and local tax rate.
