FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For handyman services I usually charge a flat rate of $25.00 an hour, which is 1/2 of what most retail chain handyman services charge. I'm able to do that because I've become very quick with repairs, it offers the customer a cost effective solution and I'm still able to make a profit. On larger jobs I usually bid an overall price, that way if there's unexpected issues during the process the customer doesn't end up with additional costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer contacts me I work with them to set up an initial interview; to establish what exactly the customer wants done, the budget for the project, discuss the time frame of the project, and any special requests or considerations that the customer may require. During the project and afterwards, I am available 24/7 to answer any of my customers questions or concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, I've worked each trade of home building for several years to understand how they work together to collaborate on a finished project.
