Introduction: Unlike most small art schools or universities, we aim to build you skills, techniques and gain insight to your particular individual creative set of variables. We believe these variables show up in drawing, painting and spending time in the process. We, then, begin to take these variables and translate them into art language to help you inform your work into style and eventually voice. This emphasis on individual voice makes us unique and a highly sought after destination with superior instruction within an inspiring environment. We provide the instruction to begin a creative journey. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced art classes that stress the individual and the individual's unique artistic voice. While most people are not aware of what their voice is or what that means, we believe this is the beginning of the journey and we aim to get you headed in a direction that leads to a creative side that you may not have realized. We believe this is accessible to anyone and not just those who appear to pick things quickly. In fact, we would rather you come with an open mind and allow us an opportunity to help you in your artistic pursuits whether it be hobby, art guild members, semi professional or professional artists. We have a place for you and life is too short to wait. Our instructors are either professionals in the field of fine art with degrees of M.F.A or B.F.A, or have an art related degree. Many of our instructors have been painting for 10+ years and are actively pursuing an artistic journey themselves. We welcome people from all walks of life and we take the creative journey together through demonstrations, class discussion, one-on-one instruction and small group learning.
