FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are fair and competitive, however, we pay our people well, to insure that they take their time and do an excellent job. For us, it's not about quantity....it's all about quality. Don't make the mistake of hiring the cheapest. A long time customer of mine said to me once, "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after price is forgotten". Ain't that the truth!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial "get-together" involves discussing needs and ideas to achieve desired results, measuring and taking photos, sharing thoughts and answering questions. From there the bidding process begins. Once proposal is ready, the second "get-together" is scheduled. At that time, project details are ironed out and agreed upon. "When can you start?" comes next and off we go! Remodeling can be a whole lot of fun if you have the right pairing - customer/contractor. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At 15 I decided that gaining experience would be my ticket to, "some day", owning my own business. During the next 7 years , I worked for a glass company(2 yrs), cabinet maker(1 yr), underground construction company(2 yrs), remodeling company(1 1/2 yrs) and home builder(6 months). With plenty of experience under my belt, I decided that it was time to get into sales to develop my business skills. I worked retail, selling bedroom furniture for two years and did very well. At 24 (1992), I started my business and hit the ground running. Haven't looked back since. I thank god for blessing me with this talent.
