Introduction: I'm a cook and baker which has been self taught, but also attended Private French Cooking Schools, and cake decorating classes. Not ever for profit, but for the pure Joy of cooking. After working as a Pastry Chef in Restaurants for many years, I moved to the Phoenix area, where I drove a city bus for 19 years. I've earned the "Million Mile" award, which means that in all the years I've driven the bus, I've never had an accident. I've also worked as as a cross over supervisor, for Phoenix Transit. Finally I'm retired and I'm returning to my first love. Cooking and Baking! I take pride in the food that I feed friends and family. My husband is diabetic so I'm very much aware, through much reading, and videos which foods will and will not spike blood sugar. I've learned that type 2 diabetes can also be reversed and damage to your body stopped in its tracks with the right diet. Also am very concerned that Pharmaceutical Companies are trying to treat this disease with pills instead of diet. Since I've retired, I mostly have been making occasional dinners for people entertaining, catered a few events, made a few wedding cakes, but this sounds like something that will fit into my schedule perfectly. I don't want full time work because I AM retired and really enjoy spending time with my husband Hal, my kids, and my grandkids. Life is Good!
