Introduction: Welcome to Pooch Pros Pet Care! Pooch Pros is a licensed, bonded, and insured pet sitting company serving Herndon, Reston, Sterling, and Ashburn. My name is Cyndie Anderson and I am the owner and lead pet sitter. I also have several staff pet sitters to meet your needs. Each of our sitters is fully vetted, passing a nation wide background check. Not only that, but these are also people, whom after getting to know, I would want in my own home. My pet sitting and dog walking visits are priced by time frame so it doesn't matter how many pets you have or what types of care they need, you'll only pay a flat rate. Visits start at $19 for 20 minutes, $22 for 30 minutes, $28 for 45 minutes and $37 for 60 minutes. Overnight stays which include bedtime and wake up walks are $85. Cyndie was a professional with her first appointment screening process. Lots of questions for me that even I hadn't thought of. We hadn't had a dog in a couple years, so her thoughts and comments were very much appreciated. Nancy did a great job keeping us posted from afar while we were away with great pictures of our dog Stella. Prices are very reasonable.

New clients receive 10% off of their first invoice
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is a phone conversation to determine your exact needs. We then offer a complimentary Meet and Greet. The meet and greet gives both of us a chance to see if this is a good fit between our sitter and your pet and for you to ask any questions. We will then complete an extensive profile about your pet, your home as well as releases for veterinary care and medication administration if necessary. You will provide us with 2 copies of access keys to your home so that we have one with the sitter and one in the office just in case of a sitter emergency. That way we easily have a back up no matter the situation. Then we are available for all of your sitting needs!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have training in pet CPR and First Aid through Pet Tech.
