FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have some standard pricing techniques, however travel is usually calculated one way. I don't believe in charging by the hour, as each customer and computer issue they may have is unique. I believe that charging a flat rate is the best possible way to ensure fairness of service to all. I got into this business to combat the enormous price tags that come along with simple computer services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, I take the time to find out exactly what type of computer service a customer actually needs first. Then, based on their needs and travel to location, I provide a fair flat rate. I believe in TEACHING a person how to use their computer effectively and how to maintain and protect it against any future problems they may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working with computers for over 12 years. I also served in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years as a Satellite Multi-Channel Operator. While in the service, I earned many qualifications and took many courses in the data transmissions and computer telecommunications field.
