Ian responded to my request very quickly. My photos and description of work were very detailed so I know the estimate would be accurate. I purchased all the materials thinking my son and husband could do the work. We decided better to leave it to a professional. I needed a electric car charger ( brand juicebox) installed in my garage. He needed to wire a 14-50 240 volt outlet. Ian arrived on time. The price quoted was reasonable. I am happy with the work he did. I will ask him to do other electrical jobs soon.

Ian gave a good, clear price upfront for the installation. He communicates well and was willing to spend some time over the phone helping me come to a decision on the water heater. I ended up going with one from his supplier, as his price for it included all of the necessary accessories, such as expansion tank and fittings. He did a great job, and promptly. Our first Thumbtack contact was on Friday afternoon, and the new water heater was installed the following Monday.

Ian installed an outside disconnect for a SPA. He was willing to pull the cable through the tight attic where other contractors would not. Ian obtained the County Electric Permit and the inspector found no issues and it passed inspection. His prices were consistent with others and he did an excellent job

Mr. Ian Crichton of K2 Electric is an extremely knowledgeable professional. I was looking for a company to install a new 40 gallon gas water heater. My old water heater was getting up in age but worked just fine, however I wanted to have it replaced before it started to give me any issues. After receiving estimates from 5 companies, I chose K2 Electric. I am satisfied with my decision to hire K2 Electric. Mr. Crichton was very responsive in answering my questions. He brought the water heater along with all of the necessary materials needed for the installation. He provided a quality installation and I am confident that the water heater will perform properly. I have already taken several showers since the installation and I couldn't ask for a better hot water heater. Please do not hesitate to hire Ian Crichton and K2 Electric, he is a hardworking professional who takes pride in his craft. I am satisfied with his service. Get as much information as possible on any work to be performed. We try to insure that you as the customer are satisfied and aware of the process from start to finish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My formal education was gained at Florida International University / Michigan State University. Technical training was obtained through on the job training in the fields of commercial,residential electrical and HVAC trades with class A contractor in the DMV area.
