Introduction: I am a CPDT certified dog trainer and an AKC CGC evaluator with 4 years of experience at a boarding facility in Katy TX providing classes, lodge and learns and private lessons on all types of behavior issues. I am now offering my private services in Houston including private lessons and group classes.
I also provide house/pet sitting in the Houston area. I am a non smoker, with extensive knowledge on pet first aid and CPR. Please see the business link for reviews and profile we have on rover.com.
My strengths are being able to handle high energy dogs (I am known as the puppy lady at my facility). I love working on impulse control and reactive dogs since I feel I have a lot of patience. This also comes in handy when building confidence in fearful dogs as I tend to be able to get scared dogs to warm up to me faster than most. I got into dog training to help owners understand their dogs. Most issues I see are just miscommunication between dog and human, fixable with a different approach and mindset. My main motivation is to keep the dogs in the home and out of the shelters.

Typically I don't post feedback for services like this. However, after the incredible training Lindsay provided for my 2yr old Aussie, Sebastian, I felt compelled to write something. I heard really great things about Loose Leash through a friend of mine and figured I would give them shot since prices were better than dog training facilities I researched around town and Lindsay was CPDT certified. I brought in my dog because I was having trouble with him getting too excited and jumping on people coming to my house, and he wouldn't come when called. Within minutes of working with Lindsay, she had my dog sitting next to me instead of jumping all over the place. Not long after that she had him coming from across the yard when called. I was amazed at how quickly Lindsay got my dog to respond! After a few more training sessions, Sebastian was a completely different dog! I highly recommend Loose Leash.
