Introduction: Master Trainer & Behavioral Specialist. I love teaching dogs all kinds. I use Positive Reinforcement Training. I have 30 yrs experience I teach basic obedience, agility & trick training for your pets at your home, I teach sessions on Therapy training ( must have completed basic obedience training) and Potty training. I can help you & your dog complete the C. G. C. training & get your dog ready for testing. I have worked at pet stores, volunteer at dog shelters teaching the dogs to sit. I have rescued dogs finding homes for them & also keeping the ones nobody wants. I work with all breeds. I love the fact that if I can help keep dogs & cats at home that's better than living at the shelter. I have 5 sessions- Puppy training for 5 sessions at $285.00. For 6mos & older Basic obedience training for 1hr @ $325.00 I work around your schedule & I am able to meet with you anytime. I do potty training 10 to 15 sessions for $225.00 Therapy training 1hr 7 sessions for $450.00 (must have completed basic obedience training). I do 2 dogs training 5 to 10 sessions for $428.00 (Puppy). For 6 mos & older for $488. C. G. C. training 10 step program for $295.00 I take care of dogs & cats starting at $25.00 (depending location) feeding & scooping per visit. For dog & cat pet sitting starts at $35.00 at your home (depending location)

Our dog had a barking problem with visitors and Carmen offered several solutions and even provided the tools at no cost. After two reasonably priced visits, the problem is significantly reduced and we now have the means to continue the training. Very happy with Carmen's patience and assistance.

I went out of town for a few days and hired Carmen to dog sit for me. She did an outstanding job taking care of my puppies Kijo and Zoey. She was very professional and did exactly as I asked. She even sent videos and pictures and regularly updated me on what's going on. I will definitely hire her again. My doggies love her! Thank you Carmen! 😊

Carmen did a great job teaching our dogs basic obedience commands in preparation for a new baby in our home. They are still just as loveable but much better behave. She also pet sat for us when we were gone on vacation and we loved not having to worry about our fur babies. Excellent job and would highly recommend!

Carmen is knowable with dogs of all breeds and ages. We have an elderly dog who takes meds. That was no problem for this pro! We have used Harleys pet sitting many times, and will continue.

From my point of view, Carmen is always dependable and trustworthy, and my animals love her too. I have learned over the years that animals, cats and dogs, are very good judges of human character. They can sniff out the good from the bad, and let me know it. My current two standard poodles are friendly to strangers (at least AFTER I have invited said stranger inside the house in a friendly tone). But they are not going to be unabashedly in love (you know what I mean, when they just won't stop mugging for hugs and rubs in between trying to get in lots of slobbery kisses) with a person that has not treated them well. Same with my social cat - she knows who likes her and has been good to her. While I already knew I had placed my pets in good hands with Carmen and her partner backup, with full confidence that she would take very good care of my animals in accordance with my instructions and their needs, as well as having full access to my home, it was good to get the dogs' and cats' "paws up" review too. 'Cause in the end, that is the review that matters the most to me. And Carmen, sorry but you will just have to steel yourself for my poodles' mugging you the next time you are here.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes it depends on the customers how payment's are made. Dog training & Pet sitting have different prices. If you have 2 dog's I offer a different quote to help the customer out as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Positive Reinforcement Training & follow the instructions given by the Trainer. For Good manners. Does your dog sometimes dash out the door? Steal socks? Jump on your guests? I can help you teach your dog good manners, including *Come when called, *:Wait at the door, * Sit to greet guests, *Let you know when he needs to "go", *Walk nicely on leash, *Sit, Down, Stay. When to use the word "NO". For puppy training I can help with crate training, socializing your puppy with others getting him used to people and dog's. Also teaching him/her good house manners as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified pet instructor for Master Trainer & Behavioral Specialist. Study with Penn Foster for dispensing meds to animals. Study with Top Dog Academy in Utah. Learn from the best trainers & education from Reno & Las Vegas Nevada.
