Derek has worked as a computer troubleshooting analyst for over 35 years. He is able to respond to all request that are made in a timely and professional manner. He effectively studies every problems that are directed to him, so that he can provide the best service possible. Once he identifies and resolves a problem, he follows up with his customer to make sure that the customer is satisfied. His excellent written and oral communication skills allows him to get a clear picture of what services are needed. He is able to analyze computer and network problems before he reach his customer destination. Derek has ongoing training experience that allows him to know about all updated technology changes. He holds an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, along with varies networking, troubleshooting, and configuration certifications. His recent A+ certification training have allowed him to be at the top level of his profession in installing, maintaining, customizing, and operating personal computers. He is knowledgeable and is capable of troubleshooting computer brands such as IBM, HP, and Apple hardware. I'm still working on pricing but it will be based on client needs and case by case.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Take your call and listen to you explain the computer problem or the service you are interested in. After hearing about your issue I will determine what action is needed to resolve your issue. Please keep in mind that I am located in Houston Texas.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my BS Degree in Computer science from Prairie View University in 1978. My many Professional Certification are ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management April 18, 2013. A+ Certification PREP Course June 6-10, 2016 to name a few. I have worked for IBM, The State of Texas, US Sprint and currently for CB&I as a Computer Troubleshooting Analyst.
