Some people choose to spend that time with me so that they can see what my abilities will do for their recorded song(s). A lot of the time, I work for no charge, meaning if you go over your paid time of recording, I usually waive the extra 30 minutes or so. While I often spend much more time on a project, this is a very fair amount of time to charge for industry-wide pricing. If your recording time does go into over-time, then there is a charge of $35.00 PER HOUR. All songs have Melodyne and Autotune to the degree of your liking!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Personally, I prefer to have a free phone consultation with you to discuss in detail any needs that you may have. I also like to know what is expected, and what you expect of me. Basically, hearing all aspects of the your project outcome. With great communication, great results are achieved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been very fortunate of having played in many bands, touring with many high profile acts. Beginning at the ripe young age of 5 years old, I started piano lessons. I was self-taught on the guitar ten years later at age 15. I was playing in an award-winning band, while also giving guitar lessons on the side for extra income. From there on, I was in numerous bands either playing guitar or bass. I've had minor celebrity, finding my true passion has always been turning "nothing" into the best "something". I like to work magic, but make no mistake, I'm not a magician. I have recorded, written, and produced all the cd's in every band I've played in, which transitioned nicely into recording other people's work. Even after my last band was signed to a 3 album deal, I remained the producer on the 2 albums we made. (We had to pass on a 9 month tour with System Of A Down for personal reasons. Therefore, we did not make our final album, and was eventually released from our contract.)
