I am a Certified Makeup Artist from London Eyes, Inc International Academy of Makeup, and proud owner and CEO of a makeup line called DeTa Beauty. DeTa Beauty is a makeup line that my wife and I created, and as we’ve developed our line, I’ve gained a true passion for makeup and the beauty industry! I’ve been a freelance MUA for about 3 years now and learning new techniques every single application. I am originally from Chicago, but currently living in Houston for these past few months now on a new journey. 🙂
I have worked on all skin types, different ethnicities, & all age groups.
The most important part about being a makeup artist is paying close attention to sanitation of the tools and the products being used. Secondly, preparing the skin! I love skin care, and have a variety of skin care products to suit all skin types. In order to achieve a flawless makeup application we need to have nice clean skin, and I will take care of your skin prior to the makeup application! 🙂
I use quality makeup products, and have a range of liquid and powder foundations to match all skin tones , as well as many different shades of eye shadows and lip products.

I am not your typical makeup artist 😊. My background is project management and information technology, and I apply these skills to the art of makeup 😊. Communication is key, and I go thru a very detailed plan regarding the different requirements of each client for your special event 😊. Meeting new people, traveling and being one part of someone’s special day are some of the things I most enjoy about what we do 😊 Most of all is the joy and confidence one feels after seeing their makeover.
Also PS: Thank you for some of the clients that have asked, but I do not do hair. 🙂
