FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Here is an example of my pricing: HD charges From $120.00 to install a ceiling fan. I charge $60.00. I dont care if you live in Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, Glen Kernan etc. I treat all my customers fairly and realize they are working for their money as hard as I'm working for mine. Also I give my customers a discount for multiple projects. I will beat any written estimate by 10%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first contact with my customer is traditionally a phone call and introducing myself. Next I'd like to set up a time when I can meet with the customer and look at their project. I am flexible so I will meet the customer at their convenience. This allows me to offer the best price possible after seeing the job and finding out what the customers expectations are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 11 years in the US Navy as an electrician. Most of that time was aboard US Naval ships in many facets of maintenance. As can be expected I had many years of painting experience keeping our spaces and the ship in Tip-Top shape. Growing up on a farm afforded me many opportunities to repair the farm equipment work on buildings. My family has a background in the pulp wood business so I have several years experience cutting trees and working at our sawmill. I have 20-plus years of experience working as electrical mechanical maintenance man and my last 8 years I was a maintenance manager for a 8 million cubic square foot cold storage facility.
