FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I get paid $65 for an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am flexible working with a new student. If the student wants to learn a specific song or genre then s/he definitely can learn that from me. However, if s/he does not have a specific preference and does not know how to read scores or music sheets at all, that should not be a problem. I will check what the student’s strength and weakness first and prepare basic scores and music sheets for that student to learn. I’ll also prepare some theory quiz so we can learn music variously and the student can enjoy playing the piano.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Cum Laude with two scholarships and a Jazz Performance Award at Berklee College of Music in May 2016. I graduated at New York University with masters degree and have performed and recorded with many established musicians, such as Drew Gress, Alex Sipiagin, Alan Ferber, and Dave Pietro. I’ve taught the piano for all the level of students like from young kids to adults for 4 years and also taught at NYU as an adjunct instructor for about two years for non-jazz major undergraduate students.
