FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My starting rate is $300. Depending on what is needed or where the wedding is located it may vary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to set up an initial "meet & greet." This allows the couple to ask questions of me, & me to find out what the couple is looking for. It's important that both of us feel like we are a good match. If I don't think that I am able to give a couple what they're looking for, I'll tell them right away so they can find someone better suited to their needs. If they hire me, we can schedule a time for a longer chat & I'll get a bit more information about them, their relationship, details about their ceremony goals, etc. From that point forward, the amount of our contact depends on the couple's wants. I am here to help as much or as little as wanted.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my related "training" came from the program committee & lifespan education coordinator at my church in Montana. We were responsible for putting together & sometimes writing Sunday services, weddings & funeral services. Writing a sermon & writing a wedding ceremony have similar components & I learned a lot during those years. As lifespan ed. I'd put together trainings & workshops for all ages on a variety of subjects.
