- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a monthly fee for 1/2 hour weekly lessons. Some months will have five lessons while others may only have three. I highly encourage make-up lessons with there are conflicts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With younger children, it's important to keep the lesson interesting moving at a good pace. I incorporate rhythm, note and theory games to help keep them focused. Older students and adults have different needs based on their goals. It's important that I understand their goals so that we are working together for the same purpose.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied piano for my whole life up through the college level. While my bachelor's degree is in business, I have taken many college level classes in music theory, performance and lessons throughout my life.
