FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work with clients who own a house or commercial building that become aware of foundation distress at their property. They often have lots of questions and sometimes even misinformation. Our process is that first we listen to make sure we understand any concerns or specific questions. Next, we then make an on-site condition assessment to gauge the severity of the problem and to estimate the cause of the distress. Finally, we provide recommendations based on engineering fundamentals. Our goal is to address any questions or concerns from our clients and empower them with actionable and impartial advice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
* Licensed Professional Engineer * Master's Degree in Civil Engineering * Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked in the corporate engineering world for more than 8 years. That experience was invaluable, but I always knew that I wanted to operate my own business and build direct relationships with clients. In 2015 I started Prairie River Engineering & Inspection and it has been wonderful serving my clients.
