AshCo. Custom Construction
About this pro
They built a small back porch for me and overall it was great. Beautiful redwood and the job was done quickly. They accidentally broke the outer pane of a double pane window and totally took responsibility for getting it fixed quickly and wouldn’t accept payment for the porch until the window was fixed. The only problem was a nail had come out the other side of a post and is splitting the wood slightly. You can barely notice it. I had asked if they would fix it and they said they would but that was over a month ago. Still, overall the experience was good.Aug 1, 2018Verified
Really great company run by great people that care about the quality of the work. The passion for their work is obvious. We had a fantastic experience every step of the way with AshCo and would use them again anyday! Thanks!Jun 25, 2017VerifiedMike A.'s reply
Thank you so much! You both were so great to work with and for, and you made us feel so proud of the deck we built you! Enjoy! AshCo. Team

Mike was wonderful with the communication and planning a time to get up and take a look at the project (even around the holidays and everyone's schedule). The project went smoothly, and I assume the quality is great (only time will tell) and he is going to warranty his work which is great. Nice to work with a contractor who is straight forward with his pricing.Jan 28, 2017VerifiedMike A.'s reply
I was pleased with Mike's confidence, his warranty, he said he would repair the problem until it was absolutely fixed. The only thing that could have been better was communicating the schedule for estimate and repair, otherwise, it was great.Dec 19, 2016VerifiedMike A.'s reply
We always try to keep lines of communication open but the job was 85 miles away and made things more difficult. Thanks for the work 👍🏻

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? No job is the same, therefore, pricing is not basic. We pride ourselves on seeing the jobs beforehand to ensure we have accurate measurements, details, and needs of each homeowner. Every job is unique and deserves to be bid and priced as such. We are competitively priced with other contractors, but we will not compete just to get a job. We do every job with the same amount of effort, skill, and pride. We will never cut corners to save us money. We do the job right the first time so you are not redoing it in the future or are unsatisfied.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once contact is established, we work with the customer to find a time where we can come to the home. We meet the customers and look at the work they need done. Once all questions are answered and we have the details we need, we can then create a free quote to email to the homeowner. We are always available for calls, texts, or emails, whichever the customer prefers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have over 50+ years combined experience in constructions and handyman work. There is no job too small or too big. Customer service and satisfaction is our number one goal.
