I received an Abhyanga (herbal oil massage) treatment on my back from Naomi. The best part was the hot towel used to wipe off the oil! I felt both relaxed and energized afterward...kind of hard to describe, but felt great! She also performed a Janu Basti knee treatment on my husband that allowed him to bend his stiff knee that has troubled him for a very long time. Naomi also provided us with dietary and herbal recommendations to help us with digestive issues (me) and arthritic problems (hubby). We are definitely seeing health improvements by implementing these recommendations. Best of all...no detrimental side effects! I would highly recommend seeking consultation and/or treatment from Naomi.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner. I graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences where I completed a 2-year clinical internship and post-graduate internship in a fast-paced integrated health care setting. I also hold an MA from UCLA and a BA from UCSB. I currently practice in an integrated health setting with Chiropractic and Acupuncture.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell in love with Ayurveda through my personal health journey. In a quest to find answers, I opened the door to this beautiful and truly holistic healing modality. To pay it forward, I hope to empower others with Ayurveda's time-tested tools for maintaining and restoring balance to mind, body and soul.
