FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$100/h, which includes all materials and administered practice tests. However, I understand that this may be onerous for some, and I'm always open to a conversation. Please do not let price be an impediment. For those in need I'm usually able to work something out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everyone learns differently, and fit is crucial, so I really try to get to know each student. How they learn, what their goals are, strengths and weaknesses. Strategy and technique are important, but connection and motivation are equally valuable. I make sure to understand and connect with each person to best unlock their potential.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having tutored for five years, both while I attended Brown University and also for some of the big companies on the Westside, I know the ins and outs of strategy, technique, and learning styles. But beyond the basics, I'm constantly trying to improve. I require all my students to keep a dedicated notebook for tutoring, tracking areas of weakness and specific, actionable steps to improve. Similarly, I'm always reviewing my own practices, making sure I'm helping each student reach their potential.
