FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you've indicated that I'm hired (thanks in advance) feel free to call or text me directly at the number on my profile page. Once we make contact I like to set up a call between us to go over the details of your event and the type of music/artists you'd like to be played. From there a will create a unique playlist just for you! I'm always available if you have any questions before your event so feel free to reach out with any questions. The day before your event I will text you a confirmation with the time I'll be arriving.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a hip hop artist back in the late 90's where I began my career in music rapping and composing beats. I recorded several demos and met with a few record labels but ended up taking a different direction in my career. Since then I've been DJ'ing parties and clubs on and off and most recently I completed the DJ 101 certification class at Scratch DJ Academy here in L.A. I've also taken private lessons from some of the best teachers in the world including Mike "Endo" Henderson (Paris Hilton's DJ teacher).
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Ask your professional if they specialize in any particular genre of music and if they have a collection of that type of music in their library. Also ask what they will need from you once they arrive on site (chords, table, etc.). I suggest discussing the payment in advance i.e. payment upfront, after job is completed, etc.
