FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is $35 for 30 minutes, $50 for 45 minutes and $60 for an an hour. I also offer group classes. You can pay per glass or in a package of classes, I leave that up to the student to decide. With the payment of the classes you are not only getting a lesson, but you are also getting a recording of practice warm ups, sheet music, and an opportunity to perform in monthly studio classes and or student recitals!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For our first lesson we'll discuss your needs and what you hope to get out of these lessons. I teach people of all ages and levels and whether you've never sung before and want to sing some disney songs or you're working towards a professional career in piano or voice, I can help! We'll start the lesson off by discussing breathing and stance for singing and then sing through some vocal warm ups to warm up your voice while also talking about some key things to be aware of while singing. We will then choose a song and sing through it while I accompany you on piano, working on vocal technique and the musicality of the song.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two degrees in Vocal performance, a Bachelors from Oberlin Conservatory and a Masters from San Francisco Conservatory and am currently working on my Doctorate in Voice from University of Southern CA. In addition to my education I have also performed around the states and Europe. I started piano at a very young age, growing up I competed and went on to study and minor in piano with both of my Conservatory degrees.
