For the last few years, I've had the pleasure of accompanying Suzanne's students at their spring voice recitals. Her students are all different ages and personalities, and from a vocal perspective, they also vary in their musical training and skill level. For each student, she knows exactly what to do to bring out the best in them.
I've come to admire Suzanne's extensive musical background and repertoire -- she teaches a variety of song styles with ease. The accompaniment I've provided has ranged from the classics to Broadway to everything in between. Speaking of the classics, outside of English I've heard her students sing in German, Italian, Latin ... and probably one or two other languages I can't think of right now.
Suzanne challenges her students in such a way that lessons are fun as well as instructive. In addition to the mechanics, she works with students on memorization, presentation, stage presence and recital etiquette. In addition to that - for the more adventurous students - Suzanne comes up with some awesome choreography!

My daughter made her lessons a priority because Suzanne provided her with valuable voice coaching. She is planful yet adaptive when a busy teen schedule interferes with the plan.

Suzanne is great! She's encouraging and incredibly knowledgable about her field. When I would struggle with tension and technical things, she would always recommend different exercises and resources until we figured out something that would help. It's so nice to have a teacher who will stick with you and help you as you learn to navigate your instrument rather than pointing out an issue and leaving you to try to solve it on your own.
