FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary depending on the project. The main thing to ask yourself is "how important is your story?" "How much does it matter to you?" The value you ascribe to your story is the value that will show when people see your film and will determine what we have to work with to make it a reality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project is different but in general, I like to schedule a call to discuss my client’s desires and motivations for the project. Next I formulate a plan and send it to the client for approval. Once we settle on a plan of action, we sign a contract. Finally, we meet up on the scheduled shoot date and capture all the good stuff to make our video. Then we edit and deliver our first round edit. Then we revise and once the client is satisfied, I take my hands off and the video starts working for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Visual Communication from Berry College where I began working as a video journalist for the school’s online news room. I have been working as a freelancer since 2013 when I acquired my first personal camera. In 2017, I took an additional cinematography course with Kodak Atlanta. In 2019 I was accepted into the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees local 479 where I have worked as a Grip on projects such as Spiderman 3, Wandavision, and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
