FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing for foundation repair projects typically includes pre & post engineering inspections and reports, along with plumbing tests and permitting, and will include a transferable warranty. We offer many different options and discounts to help people pick the right repair for their budget, so please inquire for more information about this during your inspection.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to determine whether or not you need your foundation repaired or just to implement better maintenance practices. If you do need your foundation repaired, then we design a repair plan and have it approved by a state licensed engineer. Once approved we perform the installation, level the home, then stabilize the foundation. We then bring back the engineer to have him sign off that everything was done correctly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are certified and trained by the Nation Foundation Repair Association and in good standing. The National Foundation Repair Association regards the “Specialist Credential” as going beyond the normal standards of field work competency. Applicants sit for a 3 hour 150 question exam whereas a foundation repair field applicant is taken through many phases of common and critical thinking on foundation repair questions and circumstances using their practical experience and knowledge. Applicants are given specific “circumstances and solves” where they then demonstrate and convey their specific knowledge and skills to complete the tasks of the event given on test questions. By foundation standards the certification test is a “benchmark of credibility within the industry” that the person performing your work is specifically qualified and trained to repair foundations using quality specific work knowledge. This is a rigid test and passing this test has proven to be difficult for most first time applicant attempts.
