I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. My mother likes to say she "gave up a cruise" to train with Nicki, but she insists it is totally worth it! My mother is not an easy one to please, and was a hard sell for training in the first place. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our prices range from $45.00 to $95.00 per hour depending on the clients location for Personal Training in home, if our trainers need to pay for parking and if you are training by yourself or as a couple. For our Nutritional Services with our Registered Dietitian, our fees range from $50.00 to $125.00 for a week/month's worth of services for meal planning and weight loss or for a healthy lifestyle, One on one tutoring for grocery shopping and kitchen organization. Our Wellness Coach's services begin at $50.00 and go up to $150.00 depending on the package you purchase.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The first step is a health and wellness consult done over the phone with the owner Jill Lindberg. During the consult, Jill will determine the exact needs and goals the client is looking to achieve. Jill will discuss previous and current health issues and injuries and create a comprehensive plan that will be shared with the appropriate team members that will care for the client. Jill will then assign the perfect trainer to fit the clients needs. The trainer or wellness staff member will then visit the client for their first session. The first session is part testing, part training so the trainer can determine the clients strengths and weaknesses. Each session is custom created to fit the clients needs. All equipment is brought to you or we can incorporate your own equipment into your custom created program. Each workout is specifically designed to help you reach your goals. Whether it be strength training and toning, pre or post rehab, exercise therapy, senior exercise or getting fit for your specific sports goal, Destination Fitness will help you reach your goals! Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and available hours on Saturdays and Sundays too! We have the ability to take you there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Each of our trainers hold various degrees in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology from accredited colleges. They also all hold Certified Personal Training degrees, First Aid and CPR Certifications. Each trainer carries liability insurance as well. Each trainer is constantly learning new techniques during their continued education each year to keep their certification up to date.
