- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard Home Inspection starts at $350. There is a surcharge increase of $25 for projects that are a.) Over 20 Years old b.) Over 2000 Square Feet c,) Over 3500 Square Feet d.) Excessive Deferred Maintenance. A well flow test at the time of Inspection is usually $150 plus the cost of Lab Tests, Pool Inspections are generally an additional $75 at the time of Inspection.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically have a brief phone or email interview in which information about the home is shared as well as the names of Realtors involved (if any), We then agree on a price and schedule an appointment time, On the day of the inspection I arrive and do my Data discovery and collection, near the end of the inspection I encourage the customer and their agent to visit for a verbal overview, to sign the state required contract and provide payment, ( Billing fees through escrow is also available , However there is an escrow fee ) The Report is general sent as a link via secure email within 2 business days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Active in the Construction Industry Trades since 1978 and Self Employed since 1983 - Inspection Certification through Certified Inspector Training in Klamath Falls as well as ongoing Continuing Education and certifications through International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (INTERNACHI)
