Introduction: Thank you for inquiring about my Chinese language service. In my class, we will do a lot of interactive conversations. I am a big believer in using and practicing the material. In each class, you will learn 15 to 20 sentences which involve basic conversation. Then you will learn some Chinese characters. Writing might take more effort, but we can start with recognizing the words first. You should be able to conduct a basic conversation in 10 classes. The class content will be- Class 1- Basic pinyin rule 2- Basic greeting 3- Family members 4-Dates and time 5- Hobbies 6- Visiting Friends 7- Making appointments 8-Studying Chinese 9- School life 10- Shopping My hourly rate is $60 per class. In each class, you will receive an audio review, homework and email support. Homework is required in my class, the more you spending time on the subject the better you will be. My studio is located at 3340 NE 190th St. Aventura, FL 33180. If it is convenient for you, we should have a 5 minutes phone conversation. I took lessons with Jen Jen for almost a year and can that she is hands down the best Mandarin Chinese teacher I've ever worked with. I took a year of Mandarin in graduate school and a few lessons thereafter, but never quite reached the level of fluency I had been looking for. After two months of lessons with Jen Jen, I had covered all the material I learned in the past and was well beyond any where I thought would be possible. What set her classes apart from the others I've taken is her focus on pronounciation, syntax, and vocabulary all at once. I never felt bogged down in beginning by several lessons of achieving perfect tones (which a good deal of curricula focus on), but rather learned pronounciation through conversation and grammar. I came out of the year with the ability to live and work in China, which was a very special gift.

My daughter has been with Jen for over 1 year now and her progress has been amazing! She's reading mandarin and trying to write chinese characters. Jen is very personal and loving with her and this one on one fun experience has been incredible!!! My daughter lights up when she sees Jen and easily engages in class. Learning with fun mixed totally worked for very active my 5 year old.

JenJen is an outstanding teacher in Chinese language. She worked with my son for just over a year and I watched him quickly progress. She makes the lessons fun and different each week, yet full of the necessary language essentials to really get him speaking. My son was always excited each week for his lessons. Her classes are money well-spent and truly valuable in getting a child to learn a language and stick with it all the way through.

My experience with Jen Jen has been terrific!! My 11 year old daughter really looks forward to her lessons, and has been advancing at a super quick pace. Besides the fact that Jen Jen is a warm and caring person, she is a first class Chinese teacher. She is always on time and makes the lessons fun and age appropriate. She seems to focus equally on textbook and conversation, providing a nice balance to the class. Choosing this class for my daughter was a great choice, but getting Jen Jen for her teacher was the icing on the cake.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
On each class you will receive an audio file from quizlet, and you full support through email, message or phone call. My hourly rate starts at $60, and I do offer a full refund if you find my class is absolutely horrible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know more about my students, such as *Why do you want to learn Chinese? *How much do you know about Chinese? *What is the most important thing you want to learn in this Chinese lesson? The more I know my students, the better I can plan the class for them.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My students range from 5 years old (little girl) to 45 years old (CEO of an import/export company). What I try to say, I can work with any age of students, as long as you let me know what kind of goal we try to approach, then we can start from there.
