I have been a full time yoga instructor since 2007. The wide variety of classes and students I have tutored along the way has taught me that each person brings a different body, mindset and objectives to the mat. Through customized training sessions I strive to help you reach your potential and achieve lasting change.

I am here to help you identify and reach your goals through training customized to you. Whether you are looking to learn the basic poses, take your practice to the next level or build lean muscle I can get you there! From your very first class everything will be uniquely designed to meet your goals.
Classes with me are taught in a relaxed and informal style. English names for poses are used and there is no chanting. Among my students I am known for conveying detailed alignment instruction, comprehensive demonstrations and pose modifications. Not all bodies are meant to be in every pose and certainly not to the same degree together we will find that sweet spot that is just right for you.
I teach three styles of yoga and do often use these in combination based on the goals of my student. Each styles has a unique objectives.
Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga consists of individual poses linked together in small segments, these segments are then bridged together with fluid movement patterns; creating a flowing progression. This near perpetual movement strengthens and improves stamina, grace, flexibility and focus. Core Strength Vinyasa enhances the focus on the core muscles of the body. This class can be at a relaxed pace or kick your butt challenging anywhere on the spectrum to fit your goals.
Yoga Sculpt
Incorporates various equipment such as balls, light weights, bands, etc. with Core Strength Vinyasa to offer a well-rounded strength building routine. This style can be modified to any fitness level and to meet very different muscle building or weight loss goals. I can provide the equipment or utilize equipment you already have.
Restorative Yoga
Incorporates bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps. In this style of yoga, you will relax and renew body and mind. Optimal physical alignment is achieved thru deliberate configuration of equipment and body which will enable you to release, relax and stretch at the same time. Once in these positions awareness and breath are utilized to release muscular tension and stress. These classes often reveal unconscious patterns providing valuable tools and insights to aid in the effective management of daily stress points both physical and mental.
My task is to make our time together fun, challenging and motivating. Feeling alive and engaged during Yoga, sets up a positive response within the body and mind. This in turn creates and reinforces new healthy habits that will set you up for success with your health goals.
