Introduction: HI! My name is Dr.D and welcome to my vocal jamboree! :-] I'm a Leo with a fiery passion for the art of singing I love having students who are extremely passionate about singing just like i am! My life's purpose is to utilize my knowledge of classical and contemporary styles of singing to be able to send your voice on a one way ticket to success while having a bit of fun in the process.
I'm a combination of an anime, sci-fi,horror,fantasy,video game obsessed nerd with a passion for the art of singing and all of its glory.
I'm essentially a vocal ninja with magical powers that'll have your voice in tip top shape faster than you can say "HI YAH"!
Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida to an extremely caring mother who covered me in love and kisses that made me so very eager to get out and spread my wings and that's exactly what I did.
With nothing but a hope and a dream I moved out, got my own place and started my own vocal coaching business. It has been the best decision I've made thus far!
I use an alias, Dr. D, when I'm giving vocal Lessons since I used to want to gain a Ph. D in Microbiology (I have B.S in Biology), but I soon realized my heart lies with the art of singing. So, the "Dr.D" alias is a constant reminder to always follow my heart.
Since I've had the opportunity to meet and work with some incredible voices I've been able to come up with one key to success.
That's right. You guessed it. it's hard work!
Sure I'm extremely knowledge about the maintaining a stable larynx while ascending in scale, vowel modification at the passagi, utilizing breath support to navigate the upper range and etc but if you, the student, don't work as hard as I do then you'll only have 50% of the results you deserve to have!
You deserve to sound just as good as you'd like to sound!
So, get prepped and ready for the journey of a lifetime as we dive in head first! It'll be hard work but FUN work.

As a vocal instructor, I want to erase the idea of singing being reserved for those people born capable of singing. This is a silly idea and should never be the case. If you can speak, you can sing. It's that simple.
