I decided to get acupuncture because I get bad cramps on the first day of my period and my left shoulder is injured. I came across, Acupucture First, INC. and I scheduled an appointment. The appointment was easy and quick to make. The atmosphere is welcoming and serene. There’s soothing music that plays in the background to allow you to relax and essential oils to breathe in. The first appointment was very detailed and thorough. Mercy, was very kind and understanding. She caught me by surprise because she noticed in her findings that my left shoulder needed attention and I never mentioned it to her once. She’s highly intuitive and heals with intention. Mercy, did cupping for my left shoulder and it’s been improving as I regularly get treated. My periods have also been gradually less painful due to specific acupucture points, Mercy, said would help. I am grateful to have found an acupuncturist that truly cares about her patients and researches to ensure her patients are getting quality treatment. She is driven by her passion for acupucture and I can tell she loves what she does. I was referred to, Acupucture First, Inc. by my daughter. I was diagnosed with macular degeneration in my right eye. My daughter recommended acupucture because of its holistic approach and high results. She was very excited to have me try acupuncture for the first time. On my first appointment I was able to talk with, Mercy, with ease and calmness. Mercy took her time with the initial assessment and gave her feedback on which treatment to begin with. It was a breath of fresh air to discover a new healing approach and an acupuncturist that was concerned with the root of the cause instead of putting me on medications and wanting to do surgery on my right eye like every doctor I encountered. I can’t stress how incredible I felt to be in a positive setting and to meet an uplifting woman like Mercy. I am respected and treated with love when Mercy is treating me. She is very bright and knowledgeable on nutrition, acuputure, teas, herbs and more healthy alternatives. I am very happy to have listened to my daughter and scheduled with Mercy:) She has been a huge blessing in my life and I know she will heal me the right way. Mercy has changed my life. I wholeheartedly believe in TCM and have experienced PHYSICAL changes in my body. She has helped me with GI issues, stress levels, muscular and joint pain, headaches, and menstrual cycle. Most of all, she is a great listener who cares about her patient. I highly recommend Mercy.

Mercy is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Keep in mind that acupuncture is not a ONE day fix. If you are new to acupuncture, it can be a scary thing. But do not let fear get the best of you! Mercy makes you feel comfortable and helps you connect with your body in ways that you can never imagine. You might be in pain for a little while you receive treatment. However, you will definitely feel the best you have ever felt in your life! Just make sure to follow everything she advises you to do. - Especially if it mean sacrificing your favorite foods!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My sessions range from $140-$90. First session usually takes two hours and then consecutive visits vary for each client. I do offer packages for clients that are dealing with more chronic issues, since consecutive sessions would be beneficial in addressing the issue at hand.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client comes in fills out the intake form. We then go into further detail each answer and then focus on what the client wants to address. The client lies on the massage table and the acupuncture/body talk/cupping session begins.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for 3 years in an accelerated program to receive a Bachelor on Science and a Masters in Oriental Medicine. While in school we completed school credits while also completing clinical hours.
