Professional Mandarin Lesson
Introduction: With a BA degree and a MA degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, I have a strong academic background in Mandarin. I continuously provide my clients with customized lessons to meet their specific needs for over 10 years.
I am currently an elementary school teacher for a Mandarin immersion program in the Bay Area. California teaching credential can be provided upon request, which includes a clear Live Scan result. I really enjoyed teaching and interacting with kids. Seeing them learn every single new word made me feel accomplished and joyful.
With rich experience tutoring in Bay Area, I am familiar with a wide range of Mandarin curriculum adopted in America, from kindergarten level to college level, such as My First Chinese Words, Better Immersion, MeiZhou Chinese, Kuai Le Hanyu, Chinese Link, New Practical Chinese Reader, Integrated Chinese, Oh, China! and Chinese Primer. I help my students to improve their language skills in a fun and efficient way.
Specific-industry classes and Chinese culture classes can also be delivered upon request. I have a strong work ethic and am flexible to the client’s demands. After relocation in California, my clients include enterprise chairman and CEO, startup investor, software engineer, accounting manager, and so on.
My job always exposes me to awesome people of different personalities and backgrounds. Helping them successfully achieve their language goals makes me feel fulfilled.

Ms. Wei is a gifted teacher with a very kind personality. Her lesson are academically designed, customized and organized perfectly. She is a great source as an advisor. I have tremendously improved my Mandarin language skills, not only in listening and speaking, but also in reading and writing. I would definitely recommend Ms. Wei for any prospective students.

Wei Laoshi is an outstanding teacher. I made a few previous attempts to learn Mandarin, but without much success. Ms. Wei's approach, which combines a firm approach to learning correctly with a lot of positive reinforcement, is a winning combination for learning.

Isabel (Min) is a fantastic Mandarin teacher. She is an experienced teacher across all levels — from teaching beginners and children, to adults with some Chinese language background (like me).
She is patient and professional, and tailors the Mandarin lessons to one's needs. I have been taking lessons with her for two years and my conversational Mandarin has improved significantly!

Isabel Wei has been teaching me professional and business-level Chinese for the past year and a half. We have lessons 1-2X per week for 2 hours per lesson.
