Introduction: I love teaching young kids, teens, and adults how to swim. I have been teaching swim lessons since I was 16 (39 now), coaching swimming since I was 19. I am good at what I do. I am involved in anything that involves a pool. I can teach large swim classes, private lessons, teach any age or any ability level, coach swimming or technique, or teach water aerobics.

I don’t like exercising, but I’m trying to do what’s good for me. Without Patricia I would have canceled my gym membership months ago. Regular lessons with her keep me accountable, noticeable improvement from each lesson encourages me to keep at it, and even when I don’t go because life gets busy or I because I got bronchitis, it doesn’t turn into an “I guess that’s over” thing just because I lost some momentum - she checks up on me and we schedule another lesson and I get back in the pool. Patricia is a great swim coach. She is clearly a skilled swimmer - an admirable feat in itself - but much more important, she has the skills of a teacher: she can observe you and explain to you what you’re doing wrong - with a combination of words and physical demonstration - so you get that light bulb moment that makes such a big difference. Just because you know how to do something doesn’t mean you know how to teach it. Patricia can do both. The last thing I have to say is that she’s very professional. Sometimes people get confused or awkward around me (I am autistic) but Patricia is only ever friendly and professional.

I am only one into my experience with Patricia so far and I am absolutely pleased with hiring her. I have had no issues with communication as of yet, her knowledge and teaching ability is superb, and I absolutely love the location heated pool, clean, and private!!!! I am definitely going to have further lessons with her and I also plan on having her as a swim teacher to my children. This so great and I am so pleased that my I was able to find someone so well fitted for my needs on this app.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is $35. For a half hour private swim lesson, $45 for 45 minutes, and $60 for an hour long private lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Asking them questions to know what kind of swimmer they are or their kid is. Then they come to the pool, try one lesson, and see if they want to keep working with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a swimmer all my life. Was a college swimmer. And have taught swim lessons for the past 18 years. I have also run many swim programs in the Milwaukee area.
