Introduction: I put myself through nursing school 25 years ago. My career in NICU, Labor and Delivery, and Infectious Disease practices coincided with the dawning of radical HIV treatments and emerging partnerships between medicine and alternative/complimentary healing techniques.
My passion for these alternatives led to an exploration of Reiki, both for traditional reasons and for treating anxiety and stress endured by my autistic teenage son. The remarkable results in both cases inspired me to train and earn my certification as a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master Practitioner. I have received my certification from Teasha Elder at Stone Circle Reiki right here in Minnesota and am a professional member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals.
I have had great success using Reiki to work with family and clients suffering with specific issues related to chronic pain, headaches, tension problems,anxiety,insomnia, and stress. I also specialize in Chakra balancing and cleansing as well as crystal healing. Every session is custom made and tailored to each individual's needs, concerns, and goals. I believe that Reiki can be of benefit to all people of all ages as it can be used for general wellness as well as specific issues.
