The stories I tell through photos are only possible because I am able to build a relationship with the people on the other side of the camera.
I most enjoy capturing the best version of the people I work with - I love pulling out their emotions and snapping that moment in history for them to cherish.

Having Jordan as my photographer was amazing!! She made me feel very relaxed, comfortable and at ease throughout my wedding day. As someone who doesn't like their photo taken, I had SO much fun thanks to her! Prior to wedding day I had sent her a list of photos I wanted including several different family photos and she had them memorized and directed everyone efficiently which made it go by very quickly! She captured the best moments and I will cherish our photos forever! In preparation for the big day, she made sure to know exactly the shots I was hoping for. I would recommend her to anyone!

Jordan is AMAZING!! She came to my house 3 days after I had my son and took the MOST ADORABLE pictures ever! She made new born pics SO easy and actually fun! She was great with both of my kids and better priced then anyone I come across.

We had the best time with Jordan at our engagement session! She made us feel comfortable and allowed us to be ourselves. She was very professional and knowledgeable about poses, lighting, and backgrounds. Our session wasn’t stressful but fun. That is exactly what you want when you are planning a wedding. Did I mention we loved the photos?

Joy by Jo was and always has been such a pleasure to work with. I first met Jordan when she took some pictures of my wife and I before we got married. Sam (my wife) wanted pictures of us in lake Harriet. Within minutes Jordan was making us laugh and was standing waist deep with us taking great pictures. Recently I’ve had Jordan to my house to take lifestyle photos to help launch my real estate career. She responsive, hard working and always super positive! Joy By Jo couldn’t be a better name!

Joy by Jo was so great to work with! She made family pictures with two little ones actually enjoyable and got some great shots of their natural expressions and character. I love that she took both typical portrait shots and also lifestyle shots that were more real and in the moment! Our walls are covered with her work!
