FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is up for discussion and is normally based on a percentage of the total wedding budget. Day of planning (which usually means 1 month or so prior to the actual wedding date) begins at $1500 for up to 15 hours of on-site planning and coordinating.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a complimentary face-to-face meeting, up to 1 & 1/2 hours at a convenient location. Often in the clients home or office. This is a way to see if we are a good "fit". Once we decide to work together, we have a standard contract that is signed that outlines specifics regarding the planning and a deposit is secured.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been with the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) since 1993 and have the title of Professional Wedding Planner. I also currently organize professional wedding groups from Japan with Yoshi Kohara from "ABC" for educational purposes here in NYC. My background in music and the arts is very helpful in the creative process. I have incredible vendors whom I have worked with over the years. Teamwork is essential in planning a beautiful, seamless event.
