Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The focus of my care of your animals is a kind and respectful approach. Their safety is always top priority. I listen closely to what your specific needs and requests are. Have a small dog who wants to go on adventures but you don't want to get trampled on by the big dogs? I specialize in hikes and outings for small dogs (under 35 lbs), so your pup can pounce around with someone their own size! Ask me about my small dog pack! During hikes, we get out and explore different areas like Ceasar Chavez Park, Berkeley hills, and Point Isabel. Hikes are 1 hour and we don't just stand around in one place like some of the other dog walkers out there- we make sure we get our exercise. Pups get to run to their hearts content, sniff around in nature, and most importantly, have a super fun time!! I have knowledge not only in canine behavior, having worked with dogs using positive reinforcement training methods, but I have also worked at the renowned Montclair Vet Hospital where I assisted doctors in treatments and procedures. I've been walking dogs off leash for over 5 years. I've been working with animals for over 10 years. I have been trained in handling cats in dogs in a way that ensures they are always comfortable and safe. I am able to administer various medications such as oral pills, topical ointments, eye drops, or subcutaneous fluids. I also do pet sitting in your home. With my extensive pet care experience, your fur babies will be receiving the best of care. Watching my dog pack interact with other dogs on the trails and seeing how they play games with each other, is endlessly entertaining and fascinating. Of course picking pups up from their homes is wonderful too-- I'm always greeted with the most warm welcome!! I'm also an artist and have an eye for great portraits and action shots-- of course it helps that my subjects are always extremely adorable! I love being with animals, and feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with them. I feel good knowing that I will be their support line while their people are out of town and that folks can have peace of mind while they are away from home.

Kimby has unique way about animals. She is so sweet and respectful of them. She knows they are part of the family and treats them like so. The dogs get a ton of exercise, socialization, even a little training. On days when they take their hikes they come home so happy, relaxed, even better behaved. It is such a blessing that when I am away at work, my furry ones have second family with their Pack (or their Pride). Also, the photos are amazing and we get to see a bit of every hike. She could just do pet photography and do it well. Her passion, compassion, and genuine interest overflows. And her skill, experience, dependability is unmatched. She KNOWS dogs, and i hear she's even good with difficult cats. That's no surprise since her approach is calm and respectful. The animals' needs come first. I would not trust anyone better to take care of my furry loved ones.

Kimby has cat-sat for me on two different occasions, and I have been delighted upon my return home both times. During one trip away, there was an unfortunate incident in which my long-haired cat was picking up feces from her litter box and carrying it in the hair around her backside, nearly causing her an infection. An infection would have been terrible not only for my kitty but also for my wallet; thankfully, because of Kimby's ability to "read" animal behavior, she realized what was causing my cat's freaked out demeanor right away. Because Kimby had years of experience as a veterinary technician, she was able to not only diagnose the problem, but also address it. I was only responsible to pay her the extra hour of work to bathe and clip my kitty's backside hair, and the cost of clippers. There isn't a way for me to account for the anxiety she spared me by handling it quickly, and I was able to continue to enjoy my vacation as a result. I'd say this is where Kimby excels as a pet sitter. She cares about animals and is sensitive to their needs. I always know that I can travel with peace of mind that my cats are being well cared-for and loved as much as I love them when I'm home.

Kimby has looked after our beloved kitties numerous times while we were away on short and longer trips. She cared for them with as much love and affection as we would and her vet experience meant she could administer intravenous fluids to our kitty who had kidney failure. She feed, groomed, kept the litterbox clean and also took care of many household tasks such as watering indoor plants, garden, taking out recycling compost and trash and collecting the mail. She is a lovely sweet person who is also entirely reliable and trustworthy. Most highly recommended!
