Introduction: WHAT EACH SESSION LOOKS LIKE
Each session is 100% customizable and may vary depending on how you are feeling that day but generally sessions look like the following:
> foam-roller and/or yoga tune up balls (sometimes manual stretching as well) for deep tissue massage to loosen everything up
> warm up - deep breathing and yoga/dynamic stretching
> strength training - will involve dumbbells and kettlebell weight sets
> mobility/skill training/peak pose - yoga pilates strength flow (can add martial arts inspired movements)
> cool down core - core pilates
> meditation/deep breathing/savasana

qnsyoga, inc. is a mobile yoga studio specializing in highly customized private yoga lessons in the convenience of your home or outdoors.
*please note: qnsyoga private yoga training sessions are preferably 90 minutes long per lesson. Even more one on one personal time, a really profound deal.
Being South Asian American I understood the power and importance of Yoga and deep breathing since I can remember. Pre-med in undergrad, I am heavily educated, trained and obsessed with yoga, functional movement strength training, Pilates, Martial Arts, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Born and raised in Queens, NYC – I received my First-Degree Black Belt in Martial Arts at the age of 15 and right after undergraduate, I dived into a top yoga training in Manhattan, NYC at Atmanada Yoga. Shortly after I enrolled into one of the top Pilates trainings in the world, The Kane School in Manhattan, NYC. For two and half years I've also worked at multiple physical therapy clinics under some of the most prestigious PTs in NYC.
In the past eight years I have trained an outrageous amount of private clients to athletes, models, actors, dancers, high level CEOs, NYC's top lawyers, doctors, seniors of all ages, post-rehab patients, pre and post-natal women.
Solution driven. I have suffered from persistent neck and back pain since teenage years. Nothing ever worked. I found that I was very weak yet still really active. I am a New Yorker at its best; workaholic, into fashion, healthy eating and pretty well educated. I spent years running around the city with my mind running with it. I deeply needed a solution. For over ten years, after consistently practicing deep breathing, meditation, Yoga, Pilates, Martial arts, strength training and Ayurveda, I felt the difference almost immediately. When combining all these wonderful components, I suddenly became calmer, happier, pain free, stronger and more flexible. This practice continues to amaze me and I want nothing more than to share that with everyone I train.
