When looking for a videographer for our daughter’s September 2, 2018 wedding at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colorado, we knew we wanted someone who had the creative ability to capture the natural beauty of the setting, the intimate moments of the marriage ceremony, and the joy of the wedding reception as family and friends celebrated. Based on our knowledge of his work, we brought John Zale of Chicago Wedding Films to Colorado, and we could not be happier with this decision. John is a true artist and a consummate professional. The day before the wedding, John scoped out the golf course terrain and selected unique areas that would provide a variety of unusual backgrounds – from mountainous to wooded to serene pond views. The video he created (including dramatic drone footage) is absolutely breathtaking. We are so glad that John was there with us to record all of the special moments of the day, and we know that the video will allow the bride and groom to vividly relive the day forever with magical memories. Couldn't be more pleased with our videographer and his services. Shot all the important moments of our wedding day--from getting ready through the reception. It is exactly one day after working with Chicago wedding films and I just could not wait to leave a review. I am so happy that I chose John Zale to work with. John travelled all the way to Orlado from Chicago to document my daughters sweet 16 Celebration on 02/03/2018. Not only did he arrive any hour early, he was so helpful and courteous throughout the whole process. He pre interviewed my daughter who is extremely shy and walked her through the entire process. Throughout the celebration he was so creative and suggesting creative ideas that were so beneficial and worked great with the vision we were trying to capture and convey. He worked so well with the other vendors and everything went so well. Will update my review when I receive my final finishes project but I am more than certain that I will love the finishing product just based on his work ethic and personality. My daughter is so happy and I thank you so much for your work and your help yesterday. 🙌🙌🙌

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You can choose from 3 fantastic packages, all of which come with the peace of mind knowing that full-time professionals are shooting and editing your precious wedding film; or we can customize a package, just for you. We offer discounts for non-prime (off-season) dates, so be sure to ask us.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After your Thumbtack inquiry, and the price quote, we'll set up a call/Skype/FaceTime so you can get to know me. And when you feel I'm the right fit, we'll reserve your day and start discussing the details of your wedding film/highlight.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a full-time wedding videographer, I'm continuously refining my craft for you. both from an equipment standpoint as well as Creativity. I also was Director of Education for 8 years for a leading industry association: WEVA (Wedding & Event Videographers Assoc.) and the President of CFVP (Chicago Film & Video Professionals) for 5 years.
