- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our interns charge $100 per session, while our senior counselors charge comparable rates to others in the field. Check our website for more details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal is to make you feel at ease and comfortable enough to talk about what's on your mind. In the first session, we'll have you share your story. If you're dealing with difficult emotions, you will be encouraged to talk them out and so we can discover where they are coming from. We typically assign homework or scripture reading, as well as a book recommendation or two to help you in your introspection beyond our sessions together. Our goal is to equip you in your walk with God and others so you can find healing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our biblical counselors are peer counselors educated at the college level and have been trained in active listening, spiritual care, and biblical guidance for use in real life situations. Each biblical counselor is earning hours toward being certified as a Board Certified Biblical Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors.
