FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our workflow generally follows the same basic trajectory for nearly all working relationships: Like most design agencies, we are happy to build something with you (whether it be a website, brand, app, or all of the above), and give you the keys. But we don't want it to end there, and we don't believe there's any reason it should. We give you the option of an ongoing engagement, which will be specifically designed (and priced) to suit your needs. Maybe you need someone to manage social media accounts, run marketing campaigns, or manage your analytics, or maybe you need ongoing graphic design work or video content. Whatever it is, we will put together a package that answers your needs, as opposed to a flat fee where you are paying for services you would simply never use.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We don't require a huge up-front commitment or expensive on-boarding cost, mainly because we don't require a huge sales pitch. For most startups, you know what you want, and you also know those types of costs are prohibitive to competing in a meaningful way at the early stages of life. We will typically agree on a scope of work, and go in phases on a schedule that makes sense for the growth your business. As you reach cruising altitude, we will be right there with you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I (Nate) studied animation in undergrad, and have been working in digital design, web development, and illustration for over 15 years. I was a full time educator for 6 of those years, so I also have a particular love of creating educational content and modular curriculum design. My small team consists of myself along with a few code wizards who can build amazing custom interactive content.
