- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will establish what the client is looking for, and match it accordingly to skin tone and colors, also if hairstyling is desired we will make sure that it is complimentary to her face shape ext.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 13 plus years as a professional in the field even though my interest in the field of beauty started at a young age while styling hair on her dolls. Originally my interest was as a hair stylist, and I began taking classes in high school at our local area Career and Technical school. "The more I learned, the more interested I became". Successful participation in competitions at regional, state, and national levels of hair styling just fueled my desire to learn more. By the time I graduated, I had obtained my cosmetology license, and went on to earn a teaching license at Douglas Beauty Academy. Just to list a few of my hands on experience on a very well qualified resume are Nemacolin Woodlands, Seven Springs Trillium Spa, LANCÔME working as a Manager/MUA and Paul Mitchell as an educator. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Ashford University. After attending workshops and conferences, I expanded my interests to include the area of makeup. I have attended several Temptu workshops on airbrush makeup in New York, New York receiving certifications as a Professional Airbrush Technician and certified to use all Pro Temptu products.
