FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly rate as well as estimates. it's tough to give estimates without seeing the work removing one limb , 25 feet off the ground that can be just cut and dropped is a heck of a lot cheaper than 8-10 limbs over obstacles, 50 feet off the ground that need to be lowered with a crew. a whole removal is more than trimmiing, and even that has variances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with them on person after a phone conversation, but if it's a long drive, photos can be sent and then discussed on the phone and a close estimate can be made, so long as there's no surprises upon arrival. I like to know if the customer is a Veteran or law enforcement, as I give discounts to both.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied with other companies and climbers. I study educational material and am studying for various certifications that come up. it's a long process.
