I hired The Helpful Nerds to provide IT infrastructure, networking, configuration and server support in July 2015 when my organization had a sudden expansion and doubled in staff. As an Electronic Medical Record consultant, I interface with, and direct the IT staff of physician organizations of 1-20 providers on a regular basis. For my expansion, The Helpful Nerds worked with me to determine the appropriate project scope, asking questions I hadn’t considered to customize my new network to meet my current needs as well as handle expansion without retrofitting equipment or servers. Unlike my past IT experiences, where companies I had hired were often performing internet searches to solve problems, or I had to directly supervise their work, The Helpful Nerds, especially James were able to delve in and solve issues expeditiously, the first time without numerous follow up visits. This mitigated down time for my staff and reduced my operating expenses significantly. They have an excellent demeanor when working with my staff to solve issues when they arise. My staff of Certified Medical Billers know how to do their jobs, but not necessarily how to navigate new client software, VPNs etc. Each member of my team is comfortable working with The Helpful Nerds staff, they are not frustrated as they were with past support techs who couldn’t relate to their work. I can say with all confidence that The Helpful Nerds are an asset in any IT or Networking role. They are pleasant, well read, well-educated IT consultants. They work around my business’ schedule, working mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed ensuring that my business uptime is his priority.
