- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet with them to make sure they understand what to expect from us and what we expect in return. It can be confusing if our clients didn't understand what our job is in reference to their homes. It's our job to lay out the parameters so we can have another successful home inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
First Off, I am a Certified Home Inspector # 15598 through ICA. I worked for a local contractor as his project manager for several years. We dealt with mainly new construction, but we would do some additions. This invaluable experience led me to work for a local Private Equity Firm in a Real Estate Arm as a Senior Project Asset Manager. The assets were single family homes in California, Utah, and Miami. I would fly out to each of these locations to fully examine each property that we purchased to see the home, inspect it, get an idea on budget, get started and manage the projects from start to finish to the tune of 200 or more assets plus 3 general contractors. I worked for an investor/ Contractor on fix and flip properties which allowed me to gain a greater understanding on seeing the guts of the home before putting it back together, knowing if the guts are stable and so forth. I will enjoy doing one at a time much more.
