Acupuncture is one branch of Chinese medicine and a very direct way to experience change in your body and mind. Yes, acupuncture can reduce pain syndromes, and it can improve our immune system response. It can lower our stress response and improve our mood and sleep. Utilizing the wisdom of Chinese medicine, I integrate and help you connect to resources you have within yourself to revitalize and transform. I am interested in the process of regaining health and vitality. Over 2 decades of experience in acupuncture, teaching, speaking and facilitating has shown me that each individual is unique and deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and time. What we eat, how we move, the stress in our lives, whether it be positive or not, all influence the fluctuations we experience in our health and vitality. I firmly believe that we can work with whatever is before us through the body by cultivating internal resources and learning new lifestyle skills which we can integrate into our daily lives. I bring experience, wisdom, resources and compassion to the acupuncture service I offer. I enjoy helping people connect to their vitality. No matter what is wrong with us, deep down there is something intrinsically right with us. We are alive. We are breathing. We feel, and we think. Acupuncture is a marvelous modality to experience ourselves in a different way. We walk into an appointment possibly anxious, hopeful, maybe in pain, and we walk out with a renewed sense of possibility, feeling more at ease, "relaxed yet energetic." Through treatment and learning new tools to improve our well-being, I take great joy in participating in a person's renewal as he/she begins to connect to the resources he/she has within.
