FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are fixed, based on the square footage of the home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Email and phone communication, I prefer to answer as many questions upfront as possible (ie, what does the inspection cover, when are reports delivered). I realize every inspection is unique, and each buyer or homeowner will have a somewhat different expectation of me, the Home Inspector, and above all else I want to deliver a comprehensive, clear report summarizing my Inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I chose Inspection Certification Associates for my Home Inspection training. The coursework was rigorous, and prepared me to take and pass the National Home Inspector Examination on my first attempt. I have previous work experience with roofing systems, light remodeling, home exteriors and property grading / drainage / landscape design. Besides my training and work as a Home Inspector, I have run a successful small business for the past 7 years, providing landscape maintenance year round in Oregon and Washington (TR Developments). Before starting my training and work as a Home Inspector, I explored other career options I was interested in, one being an insurance salesman. I worked as an Insurance producer for approximately 2yrs, before realizing I'm more of hands-on worker, than an office salesman! While it may not have been the right fit for me, I did gain valuable experience working with initial details for customer claims, drawing up home owner policies, and marketing my brand of business to new clients. I believe it was a natural stepping stone for starting my Home Inspection company, Noble Home Inspections. Prior to starting both of my businesses, I was a Soldier in the US Army, allowing me to build a strong foundation for sincere and dedicated service in both my personal and professional life. I served right out of high school, on Active Duty for 4 years, and 2 years in the Army Reserves, completing one tour overseas in support of OIF in 2005-2006.
