I arrived to EastWest on 38th & Belmont and was immediately greeted by the LMT. He asked how I was feeling & what (if anything) in particular he should focus on. After our discussion, he gave me the perfect amount of time to get ready (at other places, I've experienced waiting 5 or more minutes for the LMT to return).
For beginners, his hands were warm and well-oiled. He was able to go deep, which felt great. He quickly uncovered a pretty big knot in my low back (that I wasn't previously aware of). He checked in several times to ensure the pressure was o.k. Most of the time, the deep tissue was awesome. However, there were a few spots -where as he moved along a path, my body became more sensitive. For example, when he massaged my feet at the base of my toes and then around my outer thighs. The first time, I let him know & he immediately eased up. The second time, I could tell he was reading my body-language & automatically lightened the pressure (without me having to say anything).
The thoroughness of his massage relaxed my body and I ended up drifting off into sleep for a little bit. I awoke when it was time to turn over. I was impressed that he took my alignment into consideration. For example, after moving my neck to the left (massaging & stretching it) he would bring it back to center before moving it to the right. Overall, he really listened to my concerns and did a great job of balancing his focus on my "problem" spots, while still giving a full body massage which I had asked for.
In closing, I'd say this LMT is intuitive, has great energy and possesses a friendly & gentle demeanor. It's been a couple of days since I received his massage and my body feels really good. :)

I've been treated by RT for over a year. He spends a good amount of focus on my points of concern and can adjust his pressure according to my needs. I feel completely comfortable with him, which, as a female, is important to me. My last visit managed to work out knots I didn't even know were there! I know his priority is to help my body feel better regain proper mobility. I will return to RT for treatment again & again!

RT was was able to address both my physical and energetic systems in the session. He was considerate and responsive to my requests for the session and I had a very replenishing experience. I would definitely recommend him for body work.
